Adel Kasaji Mr. Kasaji is currently the CEO of AB Invest, the investment arm for Arab Bank Group . Prior to that, Mr. Kasaji worked with Deloitte & Touche for almost 12 years in the Middle East and then Toronto, where Mr. Kasaji managed various Investment Banking Transactions. In addition, he was in charge of advisory and special assignments for major financial institutions, banks, telecommunications, governmental and private companies encompassing a wide spectrum of industries. Mr. Kasaji also has experience in Valuation, M&A, and Equity and Debt Financing. Mr. Kasaji received his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2003, and is a member of the Certified Financial Analyst Institute (CFAI). Doha Abdelkhaleq Doha Abdelkhaleq is the co-founder and a managing partner at ESKAEDNIA Software a leading software house working in Jordan since 2000 with focus on software products in the areas of telecom, enterprise and internet solutions. Doha is an entrepreneur who started with partner Nael Salah a progressive IT company in Amman that currently employs 170 employees. Doha Worked as a legal counsel and a Human resources manager at ERICSSON in Beijing, Shanghai, Stockholm and in Beirut working as a regional director for legal affairs. The work with Ericsson started since 1992 and from 1994-1999. Doha is a Member of the board of directors of the American chamber of commerce in Jordan and Member of the international women forum Jordan chapter and was elected as a vice chairman of information technology association in Jordan (int@j) from 2004-2009. Doha attained her first Masters Degree with Merits in 1988 in international law from the University of London, the London school of economics and Political Science (L.S. E) and further studied a second Masters in public law from the University of Stockholm in 1992. Elias Samir Farraj Mr. Elias Samir Farraj is the Deputy CEO of the Jordan Investment Board (JIB) which is a government agency responsible for attracting foreign direct investments (FDI) to Jordan and enhancing local investments to achieve economic prosperity. Mr. Farraj came on board in 1995 as Assistant Director General to help in establishing the JIB. During his tenure at JIB he was entrusted in establishing other governmental departments, where he established the Economic Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1998, the Research and Studies Department at the Ministry of Industry and Trade in 2000, the commercial operations of the King Abdullah Design and Development Bureau (KADDB) in 2001, and is currently establishing the Policy Advocacy Unit at JIB. Mr. Farraj came to JIB from the private sector where he was a banker with HSBC and after that as a management consultant with A.T. Kearney. Mr. Farraj has a B.A. in Economics from Cornell College, USA (1984), and an MBA in International Management from The Monterey Institute of International Studies, USA (1987). |

Eyas Shuaibi An entrepreneur with a passion for technology and investment management. Worked with high profile clients and initiatives across the Middle East region and North America such as the Jordan Education Initiative (JEI) under the World Economic Forum (WEF), the Ministry of Hajj (Saudi Arabia), the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (Saudi Arabia), The Royal Scientific Society (Jordan), the Energy City of Qatar, and several technology startup in the US. Imad Malhas Imad Malhas enjoys a strong technical background in the field of information technology and is considered a pioneer in software development in the Middle East for over two-decades. He holds a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, USA in 1984. Mr. Malhas began his professional career in 1984 where he held IT managerial positions for several Jordanian establishments. At the age of 25, he became the Technical Advisor to the Director of Public Security in Jordan between (1988-1992) on the national security project known as Command and Control (C3I). He later founded IdealSoft and led a team of professionals to produce successful large-scale software solutions catering for Hospital Management and Health Insurance Administration throughout the region. He was one of the founders of National Health Insurance Administration Co. in 1999, the first company to use smart cards for health claims adjudication in the region. Mr. Malhas founded IrisGuard Inc. in 2001 where he remains today as it CEO. IrisGuard Inc. is considered a world-leader in the field of Iris Recognition Technology; under his leadership, IrisGuard is credited to successfully taking Iris recognition from the uncertainties of labs and theories to the realities of the world. Khaldoon Tabaza Khaldoon is the Founder and CEO of Zad Capital, a venture capital platform focused on the Internet, technology, and media industries in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). Throughout his career, Khaldoon has been involved in 60+ SME and Venture Capital engagements, including co-founding, managing, and advising SME firms and investment funds in Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, and United States. Sectors of expertise include technology, media, telecommunication, Internet, and healthcare. A self-made entrepreneur, Khaldoon in 1994 established Arabian Communications and Publishing. In 1997, he started Arabia Online, the first regional portal focused on the Arab world, attracting investments from the likes of Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal, Intel Capital, and HP. In 2000, he lead the establishment of IDEAVELOPERS, Egypt's first technology incubator and early stage fund. During the period from 2003-2005 Khaldoon worked for a Saudi Arabia based group to build Internet business. In 2005, he started Riyada Ventures. Riyada Ventures was acquired by Abraaj Capital, and he joined the Abraaj Capital Group as the CEO of Riyada Enterprise Development. Dr. Khalid Al Wazani Dr. Khalid Al Wazani is currently the CEO, Chairman & Founding Partner of Issnaad Consulting; a diversified Business Consulting, Business Reengineering, Economic Policy & Project Management Firm found late 2011 & started operations Jan. 2012. Just before that, he was (2008-2011) the CEO of Darat Jordan Holdings (PLC), an investment company in diversified sectors including Consultancy & Capacity Building. Previously He was the General Manager of Taameer Jordan and Saraya Aqaba, both of which are leading companies in real estate development in Jordan. Earlier in his career, Dr. Wazani worked as an Economic Researcher at the Arab Bank PLC in Egypt, immediately after he obtained a Masters degree in Economics from the American Univ. in Cairo (AUC), followed by a PH.D. in Economics from Cairo University. Upon his return to Amman, Jordan late 1994, Dr. Wazani was appointed as an assistant and then Associate professor of Economics at the Department of Economics at the Hashemeyeh University. Dr. Wazani was appointed as Deputy Dean for Faculty of Economics at the same university. He has also held the position of Director General for the Jordanian Customs Department during 1999-2001. Maher Kaddoura Maher Kaddoura was until recently the Managing Director at Huron Consulting Group. In 2010, Kaddoura founded a national initiative to encourage entrepreneurial growth in Jordan, the Start.Alliance, and leads a business incubator called Meydan as part of that effort. Prior to joining Huron, he was the managing partner of Nextmove, a regional Saudi Arabia-based consulting firm. And prior to that, Kaddoura was a regional Managing Partner of Accenture where under his leadership Accenture became the leading management and technology-consulting firm in the region. Mohammad Asfour Mohammad Asfour is the Chairman for Jordan Green Building Council, Amman - Jordan , Prior to chairing the Jordan Green Building Council, Mohammad Asfour was the Environment, Water and Energy Sector Lead at the USAID Jordan Economic Development Program (SABEQ), an Advisor to the Board of Trustees of Princess Sumaya University for Technology and a Founder & Director of Queen Rania Center for Entrepreneurship. Dr. Mustafa Al Adwan Dr. Mustafa Al Adwan has been Dean of Al Quds College since August 2006. An educationalist by profession, Dr. Al Adwan was the Head of the Accreditation Division from 1989-1991, and the head of the Examination Division at the Ministry of Higher Education from 1991 through 1993. Dr. Mustafa also held the position of Cultural Counselor at the Embassy of Jordan in Baghdad. He spent 18 years of his career in various prominent governmental positions, most recent of which was a Counselor at the Parliament of Jordan. AL Adwan earned a Fulbright fellowship from the American University of Washington DC in 1994. He wrote and edited a number of books and articles on political development, democracy, Jordan’s foreign policy, and human rights. Dr Adwan participated in numerous conferences and presented several research papers on a variety of topics, such as educational reform, scholastic plans, and other topics. Dr. Mustafa is also a member of various national and international committees such as the Arabic Association for Political Sciences, Jordanian Political Sciences Association, Albalqa University Deans Council, the Community College Examination Higher Committee, the Community College programming Development Committee, the Community College Accreditation Development Committee, the Albalqa Athlete Committee (Vice-Chairman), the Private Community Colleges Association (Chairman). |

Dr. Omar Aljazy Omar Aljazy holds a Ph.D. in International Commercial Arbitration Law from the University of Kent, an MA in International and Comparative Business Law from London Guildhall University, and a BA in Law from University of Jordan. He is an international business lawyer and his expertise includes the areas of international transactions, hotel developments, intellectual property, construction disputes, shipping and maritime issues, competition and antitrust matters. Dr. Aljazy has participated in the drafting of various Jordanian laws and regulations in accordance with International conventions ratified by Jordan. He is currently a member of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Commission on Competition, an Associate Member of the ICC Institute of World Business Law Institute, and a Member of the ICC Commission on Arbitration. The current President of the Jordanian Competition Association and the former representative of the Jordanian Government to the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL). Dr. Aljazy is serving as a board member of the Aqaba Development Corporation (ADC). Additionally he is a board member of the Jordanian Insurance Commission and the Military Credit Fund (MCF). |

Omar Hamarneh Omar is the CEO El Hassan Science City & El Hassan Business Park. Farhan Kalaldeh Farhan Kalaldeh is the Executive Director for Queen Rania Center for Entrepreneurship (QRCE), a Center of Excellence established as part of El Hassan Science City & El Hassan Business Park to help develop Technology Entrepreneurship in Jordan. Prior to that, Kalaldeh was the Excellence Manager and Project Manager at Economic Zones World (EZW) and Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA) in UAE. Before that, he was the “Investing In Technology” Program Manager at the Arab Science & Technology Foundation (ASTF) in UAE and was responsible for initiating & managing ASTF programs aimed at developing Technology Entrepreneurship in MENA region. Before joining ASTF, he co-founded a software company in Jordan specializing in banking solutions. Kalaldeh started his career in Business Development and Project Management at several startup companies in Jordan. Kalaldeh studied Electrical Engineering at Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), and is a Trainer and a Certified Project Manager (PMP). |
